Adu off..... Again.

Freddy Adu has signed with Aris Thessaloniki FC according to the clubs website his loan will go till June of 2011 with the option to buy. Freddy will sure be happy to join the team knowing his USA teammate Eddie Johnson will be there. Eddie Johnson joined the club on loan as well from Fulham F.C. of the English Premiership. Aris sits one point clear in 4th place and are battling for the final Europa League spot. Do you think this is a good move for Freddy? Is this his last hope to succeed in Europe?

In other transfer news:
F.C. Dallas has announced the signing of Ghana International Aziz Ansah (Defender). Not a whole lot out there about Ansah, I will definitely be checking him out once the MLS season begins.

Not a whole lot of action going on in the Transfer Window... so far, but with Donovan at Everton, Eddie Johnson and Adu at Aris, will we see more Yanks finding new clubs? I am sure this is the calm before the storm. Stay tuned.

  1. I'm so tired of hearing about Freddy Adu and his crap adventures in Euro clubs. Face it, he's as much of a hype machine as Obama (and I voted for him!. Adu is done, he's gonna ride the pine and come back to MLS where he will enjoy a mediocre career. Happy trails prodigy.

  2. Everytime he's on the field, magic happens. The boy's a baller, and soon (well at some point), everyone will know it and all the haters will start saying they knew it would happen, he just needed time to mature.

  3. Someone told me today that Adu is washed up. People think that becuase he's been around for 6 years that he'll never make it. In reality, the kid is only 20 years old and still has plenty of time to develop into a decent pro. In hindsight, he probably should have stayed in MLS and gotten quality playing time.
