MLS has offered Stuart Holden a new contract in an effort to keep him from jumping the pond. The guy was only making $34,728.75 a year, so being offered 10 times what you were isn't too shabby, plus he'll be able to dress even better. Man, I wish I could afford a Bumpy Pitch shirt.

The injuries seem to be effecting Arsenal as they did not look impressive vs Stoke. Eduardo pulled out of the line up with a thigh injury, Emmanuel Eboue picked up a muscle injury and defenders Armand Traore and William Gallas have hamstring injuries.
